Indeed had we not being theatre visiting we would probably have sat there every evening. Staff were excellent throughout the hotel, always smiling, nothing too much trouble. When our pods for the Nespresso machine ran out they delivered more in minutes. The position can't be bettered-tube station on the doorstep.
We left the theatre and were back in our room in less than 20 minutes. Wonderful stay that we will repeat soon. Will always have to go executive now though- have been spoilt!
Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your excellent post and for awarding us a five star review following your stay. I was delighted to read you enjoyed your Executive experience and appreciated all of the extra luxuries that are extended with this package. It always makes me smile when I read great comments about our team who will go out of their way to ensure all of our guests are made to feel welcome and Glass - John Bender - Memories Of Mindless Mechanical Monologues 1976-1985. Our position here on Buckingham Palace Road so close to many tourist hotspots and travel links could not be better.
We hope to spoil you again soon. First time in London. Rooms are a bit small compared to the US. Very convenient to bus station.
Lots of small shops and eatery nearby. The room we had was a bit far from the elevator. Beds were old and sunked in a bit. Overall pretty good hotel and would stay again. Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post and for choosing to stay at The Grosvenor for your first trip to London.
Our location is very convenient with many local amenities within walking distance along with public transport options which are just The Grosvenor Studio Orchestra - Holiday On The Road away.
We do have larger bedrooms in our Deluxe and Executive categories and when you do choose to stay with us again our Relationship Managers Jackie and Danielle would be delighted to assist you in booking a larger room. We hope to see you again soon. The hotel is part Robert Gretch - Salty Dog the Victoria Station complex, and connected to the station through The Grosvenor Studio Orchestra - Holiday On The Road rear entrance.
This was the reason I stayed there: i had an 8am train to catch. I stayed in a small but comfortable room facing A Who You - Michael Rose - Michael Rose station side, not the street side - the room was bright and quiet.
While located near the elevators, I did not hear elevator noise. All in all, about what you would expect for the price. Staff was helpful on arrival, stowed by bag until I returned at 3pm. When I returned, the bag was in the room. Bathroom was very nice. Bed mattress was in my opinion past time for replacement. Sheets were clean and fresh, as you would expect.
Temperature was adjustable and comfortable; it was a chilly, windy day. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Internet worked fine, no extra charges. Hotel facilities looked reasonably well maintained. For travelers from Heathrow, getting here via the Heathrow express is much more complicated. I took the Picadilly line from Heathrow a long ridethen changed to the Circle line to Victoria. For those of you with luggage - beware of stairs from the Circle line underground at the latter!
Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. The Grosvenor certainly is an excellent place to stay location-wise. Nestled in the corner of Victoria mainline The Grosvenor Studio Orchestra - Holiday On The Roadthe Gatwick Express closeby and access to the underground and bus terminals just minutes away you could not ask for a more convenient location.
We are proud of the service and standards we offer and I do appreciate your feedback regarding your mattress, which I will certainly look into. For a while the couple set up and managed an arts bookshop in Kensington, where they were living.
